Big medicine has one agenda. Big pharmacy companies have another. Managed care has a third. The makers of supplements have yet another. None of them have your health as their sole motivation.

Every day we see claims, counter claims. This is good for you. That is better. Cure your illness with this medicine or that supplement.  If you go to your doctor he will ask you a few questions, look you over and then pull out his prescription pad and send you on your way.

The Question is:

  • When should we trust conventional medicine to cure us?
  • When should we try alternative approaches to treatment?
  • How can we judge the chances of success for any given treatment?

As a subscriber to many alternative health publications, I come across many claims for cures. Some probably work. Some probably don't. Whether they work or not, most are overprices.

What I hope to do on this website.

  • Step one: build a library of illnesses and cures
  • Create a mechanism for evaluation of the cures
  • Invite you, the reader to participate in evaluating the most promising of these cure.
